Biography

Matthew Krajewski

Product Manager . Writer . Artist

I grew up in Los Gatos, CA where my father owned a shoe repair business and my mother owned a pet store. I grew up surrounded by my parents’ small businesses, and it infused an entrepreneurial spirit into my character. I started working at 13 years old, and held my first manager role at 19.

I attended Sarah Lawerence College in Bronxville, NY. My unique liberal arts education gave me the skills to not just do one thing, but to accomplish anything, through a combination of strong research, problem solving, and critical thinking skills. In college, my love of writing and painting flourished, two practices I maintain to this day.

In 2006, I joined a small startup called Kosmix. I was mentored in product management, and have used those foundational skills throughout my 20 year technology career. While I have held roles in design, program, inclusion, and accessibility; none of my success would be possible without my product management DNA.
